FAQs

I specialize in Anime, Manga, Video Game, Cartoon, and any OC creation relating to those topics. Most pop culture is fun for me to tattoo but I’m also a bit more selective when it comes to what pieces I decide to tattoo. On occasion I enjoy tattooing animals, botanical art or pieces outside of my typical style but I’m very selective when it comes to these projects. Please don’t be upset or take it personally if I reject your tattoo idea! I want to provide each client with 100% guaranteed quality, I prefer being honest and I can certainly recommend other artists if its something I’m not able to take on.

-Eat a good meal before
-Bring a light snack / water or drink with you if your appointment is going to take more than a few hours
-Wear comfy clothes, have something to pass the time especially if its a long session. phone, nintento switch, headphones, book. ( depends on location, might be hard to read if your getting your arm done )
-Make sure your day is free! Tattoos can take a long time to do, especially if it is a large piece. Unfortunately due to my busy schedule I’m not able to. I show designs day of the appointment, I typically book enough time for minor adjustments if need be but this is why I stress the importance of looking over my portfolio and making sure the ideas you have fit within my style range. If its something that requires a lot of creative liberties with very little source material I do a consultation to map out a good game plan. This helps us be on the same page and prevent any large changes / re drawings from occurring. If any large changes or complete redrawing’s occur we will have to postpone the appointment to a later date.

For all tattoo Appointments I’m 100% cash only. If you do not bring cash with you I’ll need you to run to a bank or ATM. Its always good to bring a bit extra cash with you incase the hourly rate goes over or we make adjustments which increase the cost. For deposits if you are traveling more than 30 minutes from the shop I’m able to take Venmo or Zelle. But cash is usually preferred for the deposit as well.

Comfortable all the way! sweatpants, shorts comfy T shirt or long sleeve. It also depends on the location in which we are doing the tattoo. Clothing that is easy to roll up or a bit more on the loose fitting side is best, restrictive clothing can be tough to work around especially if we need to move the clothing to access the tattoo location. Also make sure its clothing you are ok to get stains on! It almost never happens but getting a little drop of ink on nice clothing is impossible to get out!

It depends greatly on what you have, if its something easy to coverup I don’t mind, it also depends on what will be covering the tattoo. Some Manga panels just wont work, usually you need something large and custom to rid of old pieces. I suggestion sending some photos or setting up a consultation for these projects. When it comes to reworking other artists work if its not something in my typical style range I wont, but if it is in my style range it wouldn’t hurt to send me a pic of it. Might be a project I take on if I feel I can do something great with it.

I’m down for some patchwork sleeves, or piecing together large pieces to make up a sleeve 1 at a time. Its rare I outline an entire sleeve and chip away at coloring, I definitely prefer completing sections at a time. Backpieces I’m cool with if we really sit down and plan it out, its a huge amount of dedication and money. Nothing is worse when a backpiece taking 15 years to complete, best to knock it out in quick order!

Typically its good to consult with a Doctor if you have any Immune system problems, Certain heart disorders, are taking any antibiotics, are taking certain blood thinning medication or if you have any concern relating to your health and getting tattooed. Tattooing is a very sterile and safe procedure but risk of infection can occur when you leave the tattoo shop as it is a large open wound, and bacteria is everywhere in our daily lives, pets, not washing hands etc. That’s why its very important to listen to the care instructions and be aware of your general health.

Yep 100% the scars just need to be fully healed! usually if its still pink its still healing.

I use all disposable equipment / needle cartridges which is the safest and most sterile method. I use all Vegan cruelty free ink pigment, and nitrile gloves to avoid any potential latex allergies. If you do have any known allergies please let me know as a precautionary measure.
